Base Salary
$87k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing OpenShift cluster deployments, technical limitations, and customer needs.
- Design, build, test, and implement solutions for existing platform issues.
- Create Ansible automation to integrate OpenShift clusters and supporting infrastructure with CANES network, identity, and PKI services.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot deployed OpenShift clusters and applications on platform.
- Author technical documentation, technical drawings, and support materials for engineers and end users.
- Identify technology patterns and propose system improvements to reduce risk and address operational pain points.
- Guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership and mentoring.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES).
- At least five years of experience in IT systems design, development, integration, and support.
- At least two years of experience with Enterprise Linux, including RHEL, Rocky, or CentOS.
- At least two years of experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on waterfront platforms in all seasons, including installation work involving standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects.
- Must be able to work autonomously, solve technical problems independently, and demonstrate a history of problem solving and solution implementation.
- U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level are required.
- Selected applicants must meet government investigation and eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
