Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of scalable, maintainable, cloud-native services for the NXT platform.
  • Learn the NXT architecture, legacy dependencies, cloud components, ML models, LLM services, and data pipelines, then present findings to the Director of Software Development.
  • Create a personal roadmap covering technical development, backlog contributions, testing goals, tooling or workflow improvements, and applied ML/GenAI growth.
  • Ship production-ready features with meaningful automated tests and minimal rework, including prediction models, anomaly detection, RAG search, LLM chatbots, and intelligent document processing.
  • Modernize legacy systems, simplify integrations, deliver refactored services, and advance PowerBuilder deprecation.
  • Identify opportunities for ML predictions and GenAI assistants to reduce manual work and create product value.
  • Deliver measurable productivity improvements from AI-assisted development and create reusable patterns, SDKs, or internal libraries for ML and LLM integration.
  • Maintain unit, integration, and regression coverage, meet incident-response SLAs, reduce defects, and monitor AI model performance, inference latency, output quality, and safety thresholds.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on software development experience with enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, Angular or React, and Azure cloud-native development.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating monoliths to modular services.
  • Deep understanding of microservices, RESTful API design, and event-driven architectures.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience integrating classical ML models into applications, including prediction endpoints, feature pipelines, model serving, and feedback loops.
  • Hands-on experience integrating generative AI and LLMs through RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding models, conversational features, prompt engineering, and enterprise guardrails.
  • Familiarity with ML Ops practices including model versioning, model A/B testing, model-drift monitoring, and production inference pipelines.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf, plus familiarity with LLM-based tooling.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across architecture, product, QA, and CloudOps.
  • Demonstrated ownership, follow-through, early blocker escalation, and commitment to raising engineering standards.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work arrangement combining onsite work at the corporate office with work from home; onsite attendance may be required for scheduled office days, team meetings, client meetings, or special events.
  • Opportunity to influence the architecture, engineering practices, AI capabilities, and long-term direction of a modern SaaS platform.
