Responsibilities
- Develop and support scalable full-stack digital products for Finance while embedding security and quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee engineering efforts for key Finance initiatives, including backlog development, technical design, and alignment with engineering standards.
- Partner with Platform Engineering to improve developer experience, shape platform products, and identify reusable enterprise components.
- Coach and upskill engineers and contribute to the broader Engineering community through knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
- Promote innovation through rapid prototyping, hackathons, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Support digital workflows for journal entry automation, treasury operations, reconciliation automation, and continuous improvement of the financial close process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience with modern application architecture methodologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture, API-Centric Design, and Twelve-Factor App.
- Experience delivering cloud-native digital solutions using Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud and deployment capabilities such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern web technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Next.js, or React.
- Experience defining and implementing large-scale digital solutions in complex business and technology environments.
- Preferred experience with Enterprise Procurement business processes and the SAP ecosystem, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, OneStream, SAP BPC, and Signavio.
- Preferred experience integrating AI and agentic workflows into custom software solutions, plus proficiency in Python or similar languages.
- Preferred familiarity with Databricks or Power BI.
- Ability to guide engineering efforts, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, influence technical direction, and communicate complex topics effectively.
