Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing web and other software systems.
- Produce clean, efficient code and automate tasks through tools and scripting.
- Develop and monitor CI/CD pipelines and perform code review, debugging, validation, and verification testing.
- Provide second- and third-line support for deployed software and monitor system performance and service levels.
- Analyze and resolve complex, high-impact production issues and identify system performance and availability improvements.
- Support quality assurance reviews, software product evaluations, technical documentation, and user manuals.
- Mentor junior developers and share business and technical knowledge across the team.
- Promote coding standards, best practices, quality standards, and timely software delivery.
Requirements
- Software development experience consistent with a Software Engineer II role.
- Ability to develop, test, debug, deploy, monitor, and support software systems.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex production issues and improve system performance.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
- Successful completion of any required assessment and qualification verification process.
- Consent to credit and criminal record checks because the role accesses customers' financial details.
