Responsibilities
- Configure case management software, including forms, searches, workflows, and business rules, using Groovy and Velocity.
- Gather requirements for data conversions, documents, and reports, and support development, testing, and review.
- Conduct client training and provide onsite go-live assistance.
- Troubleshoot technical and procedural issues and escalate blockers appropriately.
- Deliver contracted products and services such as reports, business rules, and general software configuration.
- Represent Journal Technologies with customers and coordinate implementation activities.
- Manage assigned work and status updates in Jira while collaborating within a Scrum team.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of professional experience querying relational databases, preferably with T-SQL or PL/SQL.
- Implementation Specialist experience or comparable software implementation experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of several of Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, JasperReports or Crystal Reports, SSRS, Java, Groovy, and Velocity.
- Familiarity with web technologies, operating systems, Windows Server environments, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ability to learn complex software concepts, follow procedures, troubleshoot problems, escalate issues, manage priorities, and communicate effectively.
- Strong client service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile teams or formal Scrum or Agile training is an asset.
- Court or justice-industry knowledge is preferred.
