Base Salary
$109k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and enhance application features for the Finxact Core as a Service platform.
- Gather requirements and translate business and technical needs into application designs, implementations, and technical solutions.
- Build and support REST APIs and distributed-service integrations using Swagger, JSON, and Git-based workflows.
- Increase automated test coverage, resolve defects, and improve application reliability and maintainability.
- Lead technical design discussions, review solution approaches, and provide technical guidance to developers without direct people management.
- Collaborate with external implementation partners and apply cloud-based SaaS knowledge to solution delivery.
- Manage multiple development activities and deliver time-sensitive outcomes while adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software application design and development experience in financial services, core banking, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, CRM, or related enterprise platforms.
- At least 6 years of experience developing and integrating APIs and distributed services using RESTful services, Swagger or similar API documentation tools, JSON, and Git.
- At least 6 years of experience analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into application design, development, and implementation outcomes.
- Experience leading technical design discussions, reviewing solution approaches, and guiding developers without direct people management responsibility.
- Experience using AI-driven development practices to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, or delivery outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms, core banking platforms such as Finxact, Golang or a similar object-oriented or service-oriented language, and partner implementations in regulated financial services.
- Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; the employer does not support current or future visa sponsorship.
