Responsibilities

  • Research, prototype, evaluate, and adapt hybrid AI and DSP algorithms for real-time embedded audio and speech processing applications.
  • Optimize and productize hybrid AI and DSP algorithms for embedded deployment.
  • Collaborate with AI Engineers and Embedded AI Engineers to deploy pre-trained models on wearable audio devices.
  • Track advancements in audio machine learning and DSP research literature.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in audio AI research and/or DSP development.
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing theory, machine learning, linear algebra, and statistics.
  • Background in AI research, experience with audio-related models, and experience with algorithm optimization for on-device implementation.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for algorithm development.
  • Experience with speech enhancement, feedback suppression, or beamforming is a strong bonus.
  • Understanding of end-to-end audio systems, including transducers, audio ICs, acoustics, and embedded DSPs, is a strong bonus.
