Responsibilities
- Perform integration and verification testing of Ascom products and systems within projects.
- Create manual and automated test cases and execute defined verification activities.
- Plan, implement, execute, report, and document test activities according to Ascom processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other Global R&D project members.
- Ensure development outputs meet input requirements and applicable specifications.
- Verify compliance with applicable development, environmental, health and safety, and other regulatory standards.
- Identify and share opportunities to improve testing processes.
- Report defects in the defect tracking system and communicate test progress and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, or relevant experience in a similar field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar field.
- 1–2 years of experience working in agile development and fast-paced environments.
- 1–2 years of experience with ISTQB Foundation or a similar testing methodology.
- Strong expertise with test equipment, test engineering, and software testing methodology.
- Experience with test planning, software testing, and test automation.
- Ability to understand Ascom products, offerings, solutions, technical features, benefits, and use cases.
