Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy replay and simulation tooling and frameworks for autonomous vehicle development and testing.
- Engage with external customers to lead bring-up activities and resolve functional and simulation-related issues with internal engineering and product teams.
- Integrate hardware and software components and build scalable solutions for external partners.
- Conduct profiling, benchmarking, evaluation, verification, in-vehicle test drives, and simulation test drives.
- Analyze recorded data and aggregated metrics for simulation-to-real comparative analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related software development experience in autonomous driving and/or simulation technologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, robotics, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Track record of delivering robust and efficient autonomous driving solutions in vehicles or simulation environments.
- Application development experience and familiarity with middleware frameworks.
- Excellent C/C++ skills and good knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of Linux, real-time operating systems, and container-based virtualization workflows.
- Strong analytical skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional organizations.
- Preferred: experience with automotive design processes and norms such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Preferred: simulation solutions, autonomous driving metrics, and diverse sensor modalities including cameras, ultrasonics, and radar.
- Preferred: NVIDIA DRIVE, NVIDIA GPU hardware, or CUDA experience.
- Preferred: in-vehicle networking with CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME/IP, or AUTOSAR.
- Preferred: exposure to automotive sensors including cameras, radar, lidar, ultrasonic, GPS, and IMU.
