Base Salary
$169k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for Oura’s AWS infrastructure and cloud platform.
- Own and evolve Oura’s infrastructure-as-code platform.
- Architect and implement organization-wide observability and monitoring strategies.
- Plan and execute complex, multi-team infrastructure initiatives.
- Own the evolution of deployment pipelines and dependency management.
- Define and maintain SLAs and lead incident response for complex production issues.
- Ensure platform adherence to security and compliance regulations.
- Mentor engineers and influence engineering culture.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex cross-system production issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development and infrastructure experience.
- Experience architecting and building data-intensive distributed systems.
- Strong experience running and debugging production systems on AWS.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience building production systems on serverless architectures.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical problems.
- Ability to drive alignment across teams and coach engineers.
