Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots software components and applications.
- Writes secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Considers upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when implementing solutions.
- Applies software development lifecycle tools, automation capabilities, and technical troubleshooting.
- Analyzes large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Develops secure, stable, and resilient systems while learning and applying relevant engineering processes.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
