Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of NVIDIA’s GPU assembler and disassembler.
- Develop binary analysis and instrumentation features such as call-graph generation, register-usage analysis, and GPU-binary patching.
- Collaborate with GPU architecture, debugger, profiler, and related component teams on requirements, compatibility, reliability, and code-generation quality.
- Work with customers and partners to collect feedback and drive product features and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in low-level systems software development.
- At least 6 years of experience developing compilers, assemblers, binary utilities, or binary analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience in compiler development, including feature support, code generation, or compiler infrastructure.
- Understanding of assembly language, processor ISA, and processor architecture; GPU ISA knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of object-file formats such as ELF and debugging formats such as DWARF.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with debugger, profiler, binary utility, and linker internals; binary analysis or instrumentation tools such as BOLT; GPU development; and CUDA or OpenCL compute APIs.
- Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude is also noted as a way to stand out.
