Base Salary
$120k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Own and evolve the test automation framework using tools such as Maestro, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent API testing approaches.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and improve test reliability, coverage, and build signals.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to define and validate feature acceptance criteria.
- Identify repetitive, manual, and error-prone workflows across engineering, operations, support, and go-to-market functions.
- Build internal automations using AI tools and LLMs, Zapier, Make, n8n, Retool, Python, and TypeScript.
- Integrate automations with Slack, CRM systems, ticketing systems, and internal APIs.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for automation error rates, latency, and failures.
- Own automations through prototyping, productionization, iteration, maintenance, and deprecation.
- Document systems and create playbooks that non-engineers can understand and use.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize automation based on business impact and communicate build-versus-buy tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a QA automation, software engineering, or workflow automation role.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent approaches.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript for clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining reliable build signals.
- Experience shipping internal automations with low/no-code platforms, LLM-powered tooling, and scripting.
- Solid understanding of APIs and system integrations.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment involving cross-functional projects.
- Strong interest in Dorsia’s product, member experience, and hospitality.
- Experience with SevenRooms, Resy, OpenTable, dining payments infrastructure, or luxury/membership consumer apps is a strong plus.
