Responsibilities
- Build guardrails and AI-accelerated patterns for secure-by-default development.
- Develop and maintain security tooling and automation.
- Respond to emerging security threats.
- Contribute to threat modeling, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Partner with engineering to security-review and test new features.
- Triage and validate bug bounty submissions and internal security reports.
- Prioritize real security issues and guide developers to effective fixes.
- Write actionable security patterns and maintain security documentation.
- Stay current on web and cloud security trends.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in product/application security or software development with a security focus.
- Strong grasp of web application security principles and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with application testing tools like Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
- Working knowledge of at least one modern programming language.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider.
- Hands-on experience with SAST tools.
- Experience improving developer experience security.
- Clear communicator on technical risk.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on partnership.
