Responsibilities
- Contribute to frontend interfaces, backend logic, and features for EviSmart’s Command Centers.
- Investigate software issues, debug root causes, and collaborate on durable solutions.
- Help build browser-based tools for viewing and interacting with 3D dental scans and designs.
- Retrieve, structure, clean, and combine data while considering performance and reliability.
- Use AI coding tools while reviewing, understanding, and testing generated code.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to improve product solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned work, communicate blockers, and maintain code quality after release.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional software development experience with exposure to frontend and backend development.
- Hands-on experience building web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with server-side programming, APIs, and backend languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases, including retrieving, organizing, and updating data.
- Experience debugging software issues, using version control such as Git, and writing basic tests.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including reviewing and validating generated code.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, willingness to learn, logical problem-solving, and methodical debugging skills.
- Nice-to-have experience with C#/.NET or Microsoft Azure.
- Nice-to-have experience with Three.js, WebGL, Babylon.js, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
- Nice-to-have experience building AI-powered applications, integrating LLMs, or working with AI agents, prompt engineering, or AI-driven workflows.
- Nice-to-have experience in a startup, small product team, or fast-paced development environment.
