Responsibilities
- Design and implement Bridge’s security roadmap from first principles to production.
- Identify and tackle Bridge’s most important security risks quickly and pragmatically.
- Integrate with Stripe’s infrastructure and find custom solutions where necessary.
- Lead threat modeling and hardening efforts for money movement systems.
- Build key security capabilities such as monitoring and incident response.
- Reinforce engineering best practices around secure development.
- Ensure compliance and audit expectations as Bridge scales.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering, preferably in startup environments.
- A scrappy and pragmatic startup mindset.
- Comfortable writing and debugging backend application code.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and prioritize effectively.
- Balance security rigor with speed in fast-moving environments.
- Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical partners.
- Experience building or scaling security programs.
- Curiosity and openness to learn about crypto and stablecoins.
