Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, debugs, and troubleshoots secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Builds and maintains production code and algorithms across complex applications and systems.
- Uses authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Creates architecture and design artifacts and ensures implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting for continuous software improvement.
- Identifies data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Guides peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with Java, React, and Spring.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, cloud technologies, and AI-assisted development.
