Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in alignment with the SDK vision and roadmap in collaboration with software architects.
- Own the quality of delivered software and ensure software quality.
- Write, test, document, verify, and validate embedded software against specifications and requirements.
- Schedule tasks, participate in software planning, and report progress to the project leader.
- Mentor, coach, and technically supervise more junior team members.
- Use test equipment and tools including oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
Requirements
- University degree and 2–3 years of embedded software development experience.
- C programming knowledge and experience designing and developing software for deeply embedded platforms.
- Experience with 8-bit to 32-bit RISC processor architectures, including ARM and ARM Cortex.
- Competence in software engineering, coding, testing, and verification.
- Experience with software development methodologies and source-code management tools such as Bitbucket, Git, and SVN.
- Ability to prioritize work, set goals, and meet deadlines for self and others.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: experience with Zephyr RTOS, open-source software contributions, Bluetooth Low Energy, multithreaded micro-kernel RTOSs, and security or cryptography concepts.
