Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own engineering execution for defined projects by building AI-powered tools, applications, scripts, and integrations.
- Connect LLMs, APIs, and business data to solve workflow problems and improve reliability through evaluation, error handling, and iteration.
- Join prospect conversations and email threads to answer technical questions, demonstrate AI applications, and support Sales in securing next steps.
- Explain AI tools and approaches clearly to nontechnical operators and help them apply and assess the technology.
- Build prototypes, scripts, or lightweight tools using relevant sample data and documents after prospect discussions.
- Document work, reuse components, and communicate technical constraints and implementation tradeoffs to Product and Core Engineering.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical experience, ideally in an AI or analytics consulting practice or a forward-deployed or solutions engineering role.
- Experience building AI-powered tools used by real people, including work with prompt engineering, retrieval, agents, or evaluations.
- Ability to explain how LLMs work to nontechnical audiences in a clear and practical way.
- Strong client-facing judgment, communication skills, and ability to work with skeptical executives.
- Comfort spending roughly half the work week in customer and prospect conversations while continuing to write software.
