Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software for ground systems and real-time space mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications and transition them to modern architectures.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code for existing applications.
- Develop solutions to complex problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Improve data processing, system communication, performance, resilience, and operational speed.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation when needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized architecture.
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing code.
- Experience solving complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Linux-based systems, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, additional programming languages, React, Node.js, and automated testing tools.
- Preferred qualifications include TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and a master’s degree.
