Responsibilities
- Support Dell’s response to product vulnerabilities.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that strengthen vulnerability response processes.
- Engage with security reports from customers, researchers, and internal experts.
- Communicate with software engineers and cybersecurity professionals on technical topics.
- Track deliverables, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Present a summer project to the broader organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Foundational understanding of software development practices and core information security principles.
- Ability to engage in meaningful technical dialogue with software engineers and cybersecurity professionals.
- Strong organizational skills for managing priorities, tracking deliverables, and meeting deadlines.
- Proven analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and data-driven reporting capabilities.
- Current study in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028 is desirable.
