$182k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Interface with cross-functional teams, executives, and business stakeholders to provide technical context, direction, and guidance.
- Author or contribute to high-level designs and lead the implementation of low-level designs for major initiatives.
- Design and ship scalable, secure, cost-effective, and performant AI-based product solutions at large scale.
- Develop production-grade agentic AI systems using RAG pipelines, MCP, multimodal LLMs, prompt orchestration, and LLM telemetry and inspection.
- Facilitate rapid solutions for urgent business needs while balancing delivery speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to shape AI strategy and evaluate technology options.
- Upskill the organization through technology evangelism, experimentation, education, mentorship, and coaching.
Requirements
- Significant experience architecting and shipping agentic AI systems in production rather than only prototypes or proofs of concept.
- Strong server-side engineering experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar technologies, including experience maintaining production systems.
- Experience building product solutions with LLMs and GenAI technologies.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, API architecture, and modern MLOps practices.
- Solid experience with SQL, in-memory storage, and similar data storage solutions.
- Preferred familiarity with product data pipelines and e-commerce taxonomies and schemas.
- Preferred familiarity with vector databases, model orchestration tools, inference frameworks, and cloud-native ML workflows.
- Familiarity with Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Preferred minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, or management information systems, or equivalent experience.
