Base Salary
$182k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Interface with team members, executives, and business stakeholders to provide technical context, direction, and guidance.
- Author or contribute to high-level designs and translate them into low-level designs for major initiatives.
- Lead engineering efforts to design and implement scalable AI-based product solutions across multiple product use cases.
- Deliver rapid solutions for urgent business needs while balancing delivery speed, scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to shape AI strategy and evaluate technology options for business impact.
- Build production-grade systems using RAG pipelines, MCP, AI agents, multimodal LLMs, prompt orchestration, and LLM telemetry and inspection.
- Upskill the organization through mentorship, coaching, technology evangelization, experimentation, and education.
Requirements
- Significant experience architecting and shipping agentic AI systems in production, beyond prototypes or proofs of concept.
- Strong server-side engineering experience with Python, Go, Java, or a similar language, including experience maintaining production systems.
- Experience building product solutions with LLMs and generative AI technologies.
- Experience with product data pipelines and preferably e-commerce taxonomies and schemas.
- Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure, including vector databases, model orchestration tools, inference frameworks, and cloud-native ML workflows.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across engineering, product, and other cross-functional stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure, API architecture, and modern MLOps practices.
- Solid experience with SQL, in-memory storage, and similar data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, or management information systems, or equivalent experience.
