Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling and security review exercises across Wiz’s production and CI/CD environments.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts, prioritizing issues and implementing mitigations.
- Extend detection and response capabilities by building scalable solutions to identify and remediate incidents.
- Collaborate with the Wiz Federal team to ensure compliance with key security requirements.
- Build partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS platforms and services, or equivalent experience in Azure and GCP.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and container infrastructure.
- Experience managing cloud identities at scale.
- Knowledge of secure development and application of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native observability and management tools.
- Experience with automation and tooling development in languages such as Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
