Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their data management environment.
- Use consultative methods to implement solutions for data protection and recovery.
- Install and configure Commvault hardware and software according to specifications.
- Assess customer readiness for project progression.
- Perform data migration tasks to transition to new infrastructure.
- Install backup agents for application and database protection.
- Collaborate with technical support to resolve project issues.
- Provide daily updates to the Project Manager.
- Complete project documentation in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on methodologies for smooth project delivery.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects for global customer projects.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout engagements.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Technical Support or Professional Services for enterprise backup software.
- Ideally possess Advanced Commvault Certification.
- Strong knowledge of Networking, Storage, and Linux Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking and SCSI technologies.
- Experience with Commvault implementation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in backup and recovery of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with database backup and recovery, including Oracle and SAP.
- Hands-on experience with object storage and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Linux scripting.
- Must be within commutable distance to Rome.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
