Responsibilities
- Contribute to meaningful software engineering and innovation projects alongside experienced professionals.
- Develop skills through mentorship, training, collaboration, and hands-on project work.
- Work with one or more areas including generative AI, programming, web and application development, cloud infrastructure, data and APIs, development tools, or mobile development.
- Collaborate effectively in in-person and virtual team environments.
Requirements
- Be a freshman, sophomore, or junior in college by the internship start date, including graduating high school students or current college students.
- Study information systems, IT, computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related major.
- Demonstrate initiative, leadership, communication skills, teamwork, and a desire to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
- Have experience or exposure in one or more of the listed AI, programming, web, cloud, data, development-tool, or mobile-development areas.
- Return to school for at least one semester following the summer internship.
- Be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately; the employer will not sponsor U.S. work authorization.
Benefits
- $28.00 per hour plus a $2,000 stipend, minus applicable taxes.
- 10-week summer internship from June 1 through August 11, 2027, with onboarding in Bloomington, Illinois from June 1 through June 4, 2027.
- Hybrid work arrangement with time spent working from home and in the office; relocation benefits do not apply.
- Monday-Friday schedule of 38.75 hours per week, with availability expected for the full internship.
