Responsibilities
- Perform test estimation, planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and test reporting.
- Collect testing data and report testing status.
- Improve product test coverage and testing effectiveness through creative and proactive initiatives.
- Test web and mobile applications using functional, regression, exploratory, risk-based, and non-UI techniques.
- Collaborate with Scrum teams in sprint planning, analyze requirements, and provide QA and testing recommendations.
- Support product growth through competitor research and customer troubleshooting.
- Develop automation testing skills and contribute to related initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or another related technical discipline.
- Around 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Upper-intermediate English or higher and the ability to communicate effectively with global clients.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Preferred experience in mobile application testing and the banking or financial-services domain.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing, API testing, or scripting is preferred.
