Responsibilities
- Work on backend components written in Python and FastAPI hosted on AWS serverless architecture.
- Work on frontend components using React and TypeScript, or contribute across both backend and frontend.
- Participate in daily syncs, planning sessions, demos, and technical deep-dive discussions.
- Contribute to a foundational layer of Taktile’s product.
- Participate in cross-team learning groups and grow through mentorship from experienced colleagues.
Requirements
- Computer Science student with strong computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, networking, distributed systems, databases, and related fundamentals.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Passion for simplicity and precision in engineering.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, especially Lambda.
- Preferred experience with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
- Must work three days per week from the Berlin HQ in Germany or Engineering Hub in Iasi, Romania.
