Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable Go microservices.
- Implement business logic and enterprise-quality features across the Workato platform.
- Develop platform capabilities including on-premise features, authentication, caching, work queuing, and APIs.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and SRE teams to meet high availability and scalability requirements.
- Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software engineering.
- At least 2 years of backend experience with Go.
- Understanding of databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong spoken and written English and the ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, B2B systems, related DevOps, ML, DBA, or enterprise application fields, large-scale third-party REST APIs, or open-source contributions is preferred.
