Responsibilities
- Lead server software design, development, implementation, and project execution from conception through launch.
- Develop and apply expertise in firmware design, kernel development, diagnostics, and server system integration.
- Plan and deploy scalable, high-quality cloud server platform projects targeting x86 and ARM systems.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate available technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with embedded software design, system board bring-up, diagnostics, or server design.
- Preferred experience in technical leadership, BIOS, Linux Kernel, firmware quality testing, modularized reliable servers, hyperscale server platforms, firmware development, or system architecture.
- Preferred master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
