Base Salary
$118k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and implement cost-effective application and program solutions, independently or while leading other developers.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and serve as a chief technical contributor when needed.
- Design new applications and enhancements, including integrations with purchased solutions.
- Perform system maintenance, research, problem resolution, and on-call support for existing systems.
- Oversee or perform unit testing and support functional integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Support the implementation of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions.
- Manage code assets for applications and promote reuse across the organization.
- Lead or serve as a subject matter expert for projects and service requests affecting applications.
- Lead and support API service development using onshore and offshore teams.
- Mentor Java developers and collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of overall experience in application program development, including 5 years of hands-on Java development.
- 5+ years of experience with integration concepts and practices.
- 5+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot and microservices.
- 5+ years of experience developing Java RESTful services.
- 5+ years of experience working with business and functional requirements for applications, interfaces, and domains.
- 2+ years of experience supporting and leading others in developing API services with onshore and offshore teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience through a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with MongoDB and GCP platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of BPM, Extreme Scale/WXS, Mqueue, Splunk, cloud containerization, and DevOps.
- Preferred experience with programming languages, development tools, databases, systems development life cycle practices, and application development support software.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and ability to work under pressure.
