Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for applications.
- Design and develop applications.
- Perform or support application development, web development, business and systems analysis, application design, testing, technical writing, version control, and related IT activities.
- Contribute to IT Services’ agency transformation through innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
- Current professional or vendor certifications are required.
- One qualifying pathway is a master’s degree in computer science or a related field plus 12 months of satisfactory full-time specialized experience.
- Another pathway is a bachelor’s degree plus 24 months of satisfactory full-time specialized experience.
- Other pathways allow a four-year high-school diploma or equivalent with 24 months of specialized experience plus 48 months of information technology experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Specialized experience must be full-time, not classroom-based, and may cover application development, web development, systems analysis, project management support, application design, GIS and mapping principles, testing, technical writing, and version control.
- For certain qualification pathways, applicants must have at least a four-year high-school diploma or equivalent and 24 months of satisfactory full-time specialized information technology experience.
