Base Salary
$111k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test production software across low-level systems, compilers, runtimes, and tooling.
- Write efficient and maintainable code in C, C++, Python, Java, or other modern programming languages.
- Optimize software performance on Graviton, Trainium, and Inferentia custom hardware.
- Debug issues across the hardware-software boundary.
- Collaborate with hardware, compiler, and systems teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Document work and present results to the team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with a final graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Coursework or project experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Understanding of operating systems, computer architecture, or systems programming fundamentals.
- Preferred: Linux/Unix experience, strong communication skills, and a focus on systems, compilers, computer architecture, or high-performance computing.
- Preferred: low-level or systems programming experience in C/C++, including memory management, concurrency, or performance optimization.
- Preferred: familiarity with MLIR, LLVM, TVM, ML runtimes, operating systems internals, distributed systems, or machine learning frameworks.
- Preferred: prior internship, research, or open-source contribution experience in systems, compilers, or ML infrastructure.
