Responsibilities
- Architect and scale high-performance React and TypeScript applications for real-time surveillance operations.
- Build interfaces for video playback, timeline scrubbing, and multi-camera grid management.
- Optimize client-side rendering, network bandwidth, browser memory usage, and high-frequency data streaming.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Machine Learning engineers to turn AI detection capabilities into simple user experiences.
- Establish frontend architecture patterns, maintain automated testing standards, and mentor team members.
- Build accessible, usable interfaces with a high level of UI detail.
Requirements
- Production experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of frontend performance profiling, browser memory management, and client-side optimization.
- Hands-on experience with real-time data streams such as WebSockets, SSE, or WebRTC.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in modular architecture, state management, and automated testing.
- Strong attention to UI detail, usability, and web accessibility.
- Experience with web video technologies such as HLS, WebRTC, MSE, or Canvas/WebGL video rendering is preferred.
- Experience building spatial or location-aware dashboards with tools such as Mapbox or Leaflet is preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments or developer-centric B2B SaaS platforms is preferred.
