Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate GenAI services, agents, and applications for Agoda teams.
- Own delivery from understanding user needs and selecting a technical approach through testing, release, and production support.
- Improve AI quality, reliability, latency, and cost using evaluations, monitoring, and user feedback.
- Build reusable APIs, tools, and integrations with appropriate access controls and data protection.
- Lead technical design discussions, make engineering decisions, and improve other engineers’ code and designs through constructive feedback.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software-engineering experience, including delivering and operating complex production systems.
- At least 5 years of experience coding in Python, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Go, C#, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building GenAI applications, agents, platforms, or AI-agent-serving systems, with demonstrable examples of contribution.
- Experience designing, testing, and shipping reliable software through CI/CD, including debugging and resolving production issues.
- Demonstrable AI problem-solving experience and ownership of cross-functional team projects.
- Effective English communication with stakeholders across international teams.
- Preferred experience includes retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, agent orchestration, automated AI evaluation, agentic-solution evaluation, and depth in distributed systems, frontend or full-stack applications, data pipelines, developer tools, or ML infrastructure.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, observability, privacy controls, or improving AI quality and operating costs is preferred.
