Responsibilities

Own and define system-level architecture across firmware, IoT, mobile, web, backend services, data, and cloud infrastructure.
Provide architectural leadership for major initiatives, long-term platform roadmaps, and technical strategy.
Partner with engineering leads, product, firmware, mobile, and cloud teams to create cohesive and scalable system designs.
Lead architectural reviews and ensure designs meet performance, availability, security, and maintainability requirements.
Guide implementation and remain hands-on when needed to resolve critical architectural challenges.
Establish best practices for system design, documentation, observability, production readiness, monitoring, incident response, and reliability.
Ensure high availability, low latency, and scalability across distributed systems and services.
Advise engineering leadership and coordinate internal teams to support integration across existing and new systems, platforms, and technologies.

8+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale software systems across multiple layers of the stack.
Strong understanding of system architecture spanning firmware, IoT, mobile applications, web applications, backend services, and cloud platforms.
Experience architecting and integrating RESTful and event-driven APIs in distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, messaging or streaming systems, data stores, and infrastructure as code.
Working knowledge of IoT architectures, device communication, edge considerations, and cloud integration.
Experience guiding teams through the full development lifecycle from architecture and design through development, deployment, and production.
Ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable and resilient system designs.
Ability to work across multiple technology domains and provide technical leadership.
