Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software components and applications for Audible.
- Build and scale native iOS software and integrate new features across compatible iOS devices.
- Identify and resolve software defects through code review, log analysis, metrics examination, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Write maintainable and scalable code as part of an engineering team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch customer-centric software.
- Improve testability, operational excellence, and documentation for owned software components.
- Handle data classification, storage, and management according to company policies.
- Participate in interviews and mentor fellow engineers.
Requirements
- Apply computer science, engineering, and analysis principles to solve moderate-scale problems.
- Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, creativity, and an open-minded approach to software development.
- Have a primary focus on iOS development; backend experience is not required.
- Be willing to learn and contribute across the full stack.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and engineering teams.
