Responsibilities
- Ensure systems meet required performance, availability, and reliability standards through system design, automated testing, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate on system architecture, AI tooling integration, and reliability design discussions.
- Assist with requirements gathering for AI enablement and system resilience initiatives.
- Write high-quality code and automation scripts following software engineering and site reliability standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve software workflows using AI-assisted developer tools and automated testing.
Requirements
- Be a student who has completed two years of university study in Computer Science or an equivalent subject and is moving into the third year.
- Demonstrate coding proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, with familiarity with scripting and automation.
- Have a foundational understanding of software reliability, system monitoring, or AI/ML principles.
- Bring analytical, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
