Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and improve production cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
- Evaluate and implement improvements to cloud architecture, availability, security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Integrate acquired companies’ infrastructure into Irth’s cloud environments, processes, and security standards.
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM/RBAC, network segmentation, WAF rules, TLS, and secrets management.
- Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, and findings from security scans and penetration tests.
- Support SOC 2 Type II compliance by maintaining controls, collecting audit evidence, and documenting processes.
- Monitor production systems, maintain alerting, and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and on-call support.
- Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud usage and spending and identify infrastructure cost optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering supporting production workloads.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Experience supporting SaaS applications in regulated or security-conscious environments.
- Working knowledge of IAM/RBAC, network segmentation, WAF, TLS, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with production monitoring, alerting, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Python and experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Bicep, or comparable infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Strong written communication, troubleshooting ability, and judgment when assessing operational risk and escalating issues.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, SOC 2, ISO 27001, Wiz, PRTG, Vanta, SentinelOne, cloud certifications, infrastructure integrations, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, or Azure SQL Managed Instance.
