Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to onboard and deploy applications onto DRW’s Kubernetes platform.
- Automate repetitive manual tasks and develop new platform components.
- Administer and maintain the reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of the Kubernetes platform.
- Provide customer service and technical support to platform users, trading desks, and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Monitor costs and optimize compute consumption for business units.
- Solve complex technical and operational problems collaboratively.
Requirements
- Experience working with or administering Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and containerization fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Service-focused approach to helping teams find appropriate resources and solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical and operational topics across teams.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and solve problems under constraints.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes operators such as Flux, Fluentbit, Fluentd, and Prometheus.
- Preferred: experience administering on-premise infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and supporting full-stack web applications.
- Preferred: experience with multiple programming languages across greenfield development and legacy maintenance.
