Responsibilities
- Develop new mobile application features using Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android.
- Translate and re-implement existing mobile application functionality in Flutter while preserving business logic and functional parity.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL backend APIs with token-based authentication, error handling, retries, and timeouts.
- Build secure data exchange, local storage, offline-first functionality, and reliable background synchronization.
- Optimize application performance using pagination, lazy loading, caching, and efficient list rendering.
- Implement scalable state management and work with third-party SDKs, plugins, and native platform channels.
- Write and maintain widget, unit, and integration tests and use debugging and profiling tools to investigate performance and memory issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Slack and apply AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart, including widget lifecycle, reactive architecture, and cross-platform mobile development.
- Experience migrating existing mobile applications to Flutter and delivering consistent experiences with minimal regressions.
- Strong understanding of mobile application security, including secure storage, encryption, certificate pinning, and authentication/session handling.
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs and securely exchanging encrypted data with backend services.
- Hands-on experience with SQLite, Hive, secure/shared preferences, offline-first functionality, and background synchronization.
- Experience handling large data volumes and applying pagination, lazy loading, caching, and efficient rendering techniques.
- Knowledge of Provider, Bloc/Cubit, Riverpod, or GetX state-management approaches.
- Experience with widget, unit, and integration testing, debugging, and performance profiling.
- Experience with third-party SDKs, native platform channels, and plugins connecting Flutter with iOS and Android functionality.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted or agentic coding tools while maintaining code quality.
- Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Preferred familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Fastlane, Codemagic, push notifications, deep linking, background processing, Azure DevOps repositories, Kotlin, Java, or Swift.
