Responsibilities

Define and evolve long-term architecture and technical strategy for data platforms and distributed systems.
Build an AI-native data platform for large-scale data ingestion and analysis.
Design and deliver scalable, reliable, high-performance, and cost-efficient data infrastructure.
Create and execute technical roadmaps aligned with business and organizational goals.
Drive operational excellence through improved reliability, observability, scalability, and efficiency.
Lead architecture reviews, system design, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Partner with engineering, product, marketing, and executive stakeholders to align technical decisions with business outcomes.
Mentor engineers and technical leaders and foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
Lead technical problem-solving, experimentation, and rapid prototyping for mission-critical systems.

Proven experience architecting and scaling large-scale distributed systems and data platforms.
12+ years of software engineering experience with significant backend and data engineering experience.
Deep expertise in software engineering fundamentals, system design, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed computing, and modern backend technologies.
Experience building high-throughput, low-latency, and highly available systems.
Strong ownership, analytical problem-solving, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to mentor and influence engineering teams in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Experience with large-scale data ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and modern data infrastructure technologies preferred.

Work locations are Gurgaon, Bengaluru, or Mumbai.
