Responsibilities
- Research and prototype software technology for process industries.
- Execute a project involving AI, machine learning, or control.
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams involving frontend development, backend development, and UX.
- Design and implement APIs.
- Apply AI technologies to support frontend functions.
- Learn and compare AI and machine learning algorithms.
- Use agentic frameworks, MCP, and Ollama LLMs.
- Build software in C#, Go, and Python.
- Learn product development practices and scope and execute projects in an agile team.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Be pursuing a graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar STEM field.
- Computer science candidates must have knowledge of algorithms, networking, and language development such as C/C++, C#, and Go.
- Engineering candidates must have knowledge of computational analysis, numerical methods, control, and process technologies such as distillation columns and heat exchangers, along with language development such as C/C++, C#, Go, and Python.
- Have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred qualifications include coursework in computer architecture, software algorithms, linear algebra, C/C++, C#, Go, or Python.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to React, Vue, Angular, AI, machine learning, computer vision, reinforcement learning, LLMs, and deep neural networks.
- Previous professional internship experience is preferred.
