Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable, testable, and performant Android software for consumer and enterprise applications.
- Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing to ensure software quality.
- Research new technologies and tools and share findings with the team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with software development team members.
- Provide ongoing feedback to improve the company’s mobile development processes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience building Android applications with Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of programming and computer science concepts.
- Ability to understand mobile applications and their end-to-end architecture.
- Knowledge of mobile UI implementation, Android application development frameworks, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Kotlin, reactive programming, Android Jetpack, unit testing, MVVM, MVP, and TDD.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience or understanding of GraphQL is preferred.
- Additional iOS or cross-platform development experience with Java, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, Ionic, Xamarin, or Cordova is preferred.
