Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve service reliability.
- Build front-end interfaces, dashboards, and internal platforms for engineering and operations teams.
- Collaborate with network engineering, infrastructure, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Develop and manage automation frameworks supporting network configurability, observability, supportability, and performance.
- Drive initiatives across research, design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and data issues and provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support.
- Modernize and maintain software, automation capabilities, tools, and platforms used by network engineers and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of software development experience, preferably in network engineering or infrastructure automation.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals, including design, testing, debugging, version control, and software lifecycle maintenance.
- Experience designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and secure automation systems or internal engineering platforms.
- Hands-on experience building or supporting web-based user interfaces, dashboards, or front-end applications.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network operations workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting in Linux-based environments and communicating technical concepts clearly in cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: experience with automation frameworks, infrastructure or observability integrations, front-end frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, network-as-code, platform engineering, monitoring, telemetry, or reliability engineering practices.
