Responsibilities
- Understand, review, and interpret assessment and scanning results.
- Reduce false positive findings and act as a trusted security advisor.
- Learn and adapt to customer’s security culture and objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of outstanding vulnerability management issues.
- Collaborate with program management and customer teams on plans.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical issues in Vulnerability Management.
- Provide Vulnerability Assessment Scanning and guidance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical security support role.
- Strong network engineering experience with Linux/Unix and Windows.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management platforms like QualysGuard.
- Ability to provide guidance for Vulnerability remediation scenarios.
- Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications like CISSP, GPEN, GCIH, or CEH are desired but not mandatory.
