Responsibilities
- Utilize technical expertise to design, implement, and manage large-scale data detection, classification, and control platforms.
- Deploy and optimize comprehensive data security solutions in complex environments.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of existing data security measures and suggest improvements focused on scalability.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate security controls into the application and data system development lifecycle.
- Develop and enforce data security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Work closely with domain teams to implement encryption, access controls, and other security measures for databases and data repositories.
- Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential security threats.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data security engineering.
- Experience in deploying large-scale data detection, classification, and control platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data protection, access control, data privacy standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security process automation.
- Preferred certifications such as CISSP or AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
