Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage large-scale platforms for sensitive-data detection, classification, and control.
- Deploy and optimize comprehensive data security solutions in complex environments.
- Evaluate existing data security measures and recommend scalable improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into application and data-system development lifecycles.
- Develop and enforce data security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
- Implement encryption, access controls, and other security measures for databases and data storage with domain teams.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential security threats.
Requirements
- At least five years of data security engineering experience.
- Experience deploying large-scale data detection, classification, and control platforms.
- Strong expertise in data protection, access control, data privacy standards, data classification, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for security process automation.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or AWS certifications are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
