Responsibilities
- Develop firmware applications for microcontrollers integrated into HMI devices.
- Design, develop, and maintain software and firmware for railway operator terminals and supporting software tools.
- Write and update technical documentation.
- Perform hardware/firmware debugging and integration using tools such as JTAG and oscilloscopes.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum three years of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of C and modern C++ including C++11, C++14, and C++17.
- Experience with GNU Autotools and Automake.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Firmware development experience with microcontrollers, such as NXP Arm Cortex-M7 and the TI Hercules family.
- Experience understanding hardware and using hardware tools for hardware/firmware debugging and integration.
- Experience with peripheral interfacing over I2C and SPI.
- Experience using Git and SVN.
- Good English language skills at B2/C1 level.
- Technical background; embedded firmware development experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and Scrum frameworks is preferred.
