Base Salary
$260k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural reviews and security audits of smart contracts across multi-chain environments.
- Oversee third-party audits for complex releases and provide prioritized technical risk reports.
- Advise protocol founders, engineering leads, and executives on security risks and mitigation decisions.
- Build and maintain blockchain monitoring, alerting, and automated detection systems.
- Design and operate automated emergency-exit workflows and facilitate incident-response tabletop exercises.
- Assess institutional custody systems, treasury controls, and third-party vendor infrastructure.
- Develop repeatable security frameworks and processes that scale with organizational growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years dedicated to blockchain and smart contract security.
- Hands-on experience assessing smart contracts written in Solidity, Rust, and/or Move.
- Strong background in C/C++, Linux, and cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Senior-level penetration testing, application security, offensive security, design review, and threat-modeling experience.
- Expertise in applied cryptography, PKI, encryption at rest and in transit, and network and protocol fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of institutional custody infrastructure and DeFi protocols across Ethereum, Solana, Stacks, and Sui.
- Ability to communicate critical risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders and operate autonomously across global time zones.
- Preferred qualifications include OSCP, OSWE, or OSCE certifications, public security research, published vulnerability papers, or major industry conference presentations.
