Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, React, and JavaScript frameworks.
Develop APIs, microservices, and event-driven components.
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and testable code while contributing to performance and reliability improvements.
Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, architects, and senior developers to deliver features from concept through deployment.
Maintain and support existing applications within the Davies technology estate.
Write unit tests, support automated testing, participate in code reviews, and improve code quality.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Contribute to technical design discussions, engineering process improvements, knowledge sharing, and technical workshops.

Commercial experience with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
Experience with React or comparable frameworks such as Angular or Vue, plus modern JavaScript or TypeScript practices.
Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
Experience with Azure cloud services or equivalent AWS or GCP services.
Proficiency with APIs, Web APIs, and integration patterns.
Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
Understanding of software design principles, secure coding practices, application reliability, and performance improvement.
Ability to collaborate effectively within Scrum teams and across technical functions.
Proactive ownership of tasks and consistent delivery of high-quality, secure, and maintainable software.
