Base Salary
$120k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Build developer tools and customer SDKs for novel hardware platforms.
- Develop and maintain development workflows, build pipelines, CI systems, containerized development environments, SDK packaging and release pipelines, performance dashboards, and productivity tools.
- Collaborate with hardware architects, ML developers, researchers, platform engineers, and other software teams.
- Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables.
- Establish and drive adoption of coding standards and software engineering patterns.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD, deployment automation, and production readiness processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- 2+ years of experience with C/C++ is preferred.
- Experience with modern build systems and tooling such as CMake, Azure Pipelines, Bazel, or Ninja is preferred.
- Experience managing large C++ codebases, containerized workloads, SDK development and publication, developer tools for AI, performance profiling, and AI workload optimization is preferred.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies, collaboration skills, communication skills, and commitment to an inclusive workplace are preferred.
